Rolex Daytona 6239 Cherry Logo in Steel with 300 Unit Bezel

The Daytona 6239 is where it all began, it’s the watch that made the present day Daytona “fever” happen. The ref. 6239 became the first chronograph to be formally designated with the “Daytona” moniker. And featured here is a special example of a 6239. This Daytona is fitted with a “Cherry Logo” dial for the particular red coloring the words Daytona have taken. It also has an early serial pointing at a 1964 manufacture. Furthermore is fitted with an early “300 unit” bezel. Lastly this Daytona is put together by a brown leather strap.
